One face of Beşiktaş is the high-rise residences and office towers on the ridges of Levent, Etiler, Ulus and Kuruçeşme; the other is the narrow streets of Bebek, Arnavutköy, Ortaköy and Abbasağa, many with historic buildings. In residences, requests usually focus on guillotine glass systems for terrace floors, glass railings and quiet motorised solutions. In older buildings a space-saving folding glass balcony for narrow balconies comes first.
The waterfront parts of Bebek, Arnavutköy and Ortaköy lie within the Bosphorus zone boundaries. Before any facade change we recommend checking the building’s listing status and the municipality’s opinion. We guide you on this at the survey and, if necessary, schedule installation after approval.
If you work in one of the towers on Büyükdere Avenue, we can replace your windscreen in the car park during office hours. With a high share of newer cars in the area, most jobs also require ADAS calibration; our mobile team brings the calibration equipment. Note that calibration requires level ground and about 6 metres of clear space.
Wind load is decisive in the area’s tall buildings, so 10 mm tempered glass and lockable sashes are our standard recommendation. We also get frequent requests for sunroof glass replacement and window tinting for convertibles and cars with panoramic roofs.
Tip: Traffic in Beşiktaş is heavy between 07:00–10:00 and 17:00–20:00; midday appointments run more punctually. For addresses close to the Asian side we can also dispatch our Ümraniye team.
