Shower & Architectural Glass
From bathrooms to staircases and from shop windows to office partitions, we install tempered glass indoors and outdoors. For showers, glass railings and handrails, glass facades and office partitions we measure on site, bring the glass already processed and tempered, and install it cleanly with stainless steel or aluminium fittings.

Frequently asked
Are service and maintenance charged during the warranty?
For faults covered by the warranty there is no charge for labour or parts. Periodic maintenance such as glass balcony roller adjustment or shower enclosure hinge and seal checks may be charged separately outside the warranty; this maintenance extends the system’s life. Sharing your warranty code when reporting a fault helps us find your record and send the team with the right parts.
Good to know
Shower enclosures and architectural glass
When processed correctly, glass is both safe and a material that makes a space look larger. What the services in this group have in common is that they all use glass cut to measure, edge-polished and tempered. Tempered glass is far stronger than ordinary glass of the same thickness, and when it breaks it shatters into small, less dangerous granules rather than sharp shards.
Shower enclosure
For shower enclosures we use 8 mm or 10 mm tempered glass and offer hinged, sliding or fixed-panel (walk-in) options. Frameless models make the bathroom feel spacious; black, brushed gold or chrome fittings are chosen to suit the bathroom. An easy-clean coating that reduces limescale can be added on request. The floor slope and wall alignment are measured at the survey so that closing and sealing work without problems.
Glass railing and handrail
A glass railing and handrail provides safety on stairs, galleries, terraces and balconies without blocking the view. For outdoor and high-level installations we prefer laminated tempered glass; even if the glass breaks, the interlayer holds the fragments and the railing leaves no gap. Together we choose between an aluminium base channel, stainless steel clamps or point-fixed systems to suit the architecture. A stainless steel or timber handrail on top adds strength.
Glass facade and office partitions
We install glass facades and office partitions in shops, offices and commercial buildings. Office partitions can use laminated acoustic glass for acoustic comfort and frosted film or sandblasted patterns for privacy. On glass facade projects, double glazing and Low-E coatings for heat and solar control are assessed together with structural calculations and facade dimensions.
Factors that affect the price
- Glass type and thickness: 8 mm, 10 mm or 12 mm tempered; laminated, smoked, frosted or extra-clear glass.
- Size and number of panels: The number of panels and special cuts (sloped ceilings, niches, corners) affect cost.
- Fittings: The material and colour of hinges, handles, clamps and profiles.
- Installation conditions: Working at height, scaffolding or out-of-hours work.
Safety and standards
For indoor and outdoor glass we use only tempered or laminated safety glass. Railing height, glass thickness and fixing details are determined by the intended use; on commercial projects we work from architect or engineer drawings.
Why made-to-measure glass?
Off-the-shelf sizes rarely fit a space exactly; the gaps are filled with silicone that soon darkens or leaks. Glass cut to measure is prepared to follow small deviations in walls and floors. Because holes and cuts are made before tempering, the glass is never reworked afterwards and keeps its strength. The measurements we take at the survey and the fittings you choose are listed one by one in the written quote, so there are no surprise extras on installation day.
Maintenance
Wiping glass surfaces with a microfibre cloth and a neutral cleaner is enough. In the shower, using a squeegee after every use largely prevents limescale. We recommend checking hinge and clamp screws once a year. Get a free quote for your project, and try our glass balcony price calculator for your balcony.
