Off-the-shelf shower enclosures do not fit every bathroom: walls are not perfectly straight, floor slopes differ and there are special cases such as niches or sloped ceilings. A made-to-measure shower enclosure is prepared with glass cut and tempered to the actual dimensions of your bathroom, so the glass sits tight against the walls, the door closes easily and water stays inside.
Options
Hinged door: Wide entry with a frameless, clean look.
Sliding door: Needs no door swing space in narrow bathrooms.
Walk-in (fixed panel): One or two fixed panes for a modern, doorless shower area.
Bath screen: Keeps the bath and makes it suitable for showering.
We use 8 mm or 10 mm clear, extra-clear, smoked or frosted tempered glass. Fittings can be chrome, matt black, brushed gold or stainless steel.
Advantages
Tempered glass resists impact and, if it breaks, shatters into small, less dangerous pieces. It is far more hygienic than a curtain, does not get mouldy and makes the bathroom feel spacious. An optional easy-clean coating reduces limescale and water spots on the glass.
Who is it for?
It suits homeowners renovating a bathroom, hotels and boutique guesthouses, gyms and office showers. We also design step-free walk-in showers for accessibility and elderly users.
What affects the price
The price depends on the number and size of panels, glass thickness and type, door system (hinged or sliding), fitting material and colour, easy-clean coating and special cuts (sloped ceilings, niches, window edges). The floor slope and wall alignment are measured at the survey and tolerances are taken up with a profile where needed.
Maintenance
Using a squeegee on the glass after every shower largely prevents limescale. For weekly cleaning a neutral glass cleaner and microfibre cloth are enough; abrasive powders and scouring pads damage the coating. We recommend checking hinge screws and seals once a year. Frequently asked
Are service and maintenance charged during the warranty?+
For faults covered by the warranty there is no charge for labour or parts. Periodic maintenance such as glass balcony roller adjustment or shower enclosure hinge and seal checks may be charged separately outside the warranty; this maintenance extends the system’s life. Sharing your warranty code when reporting a fault helps us find your record and send the team with the right parts.
