Tesla windscreen replacement
Teslas carry a multi-camera module at the top of the windscreen that feeds Autopilot. The Model Y and Model 3 are the most common Teslas in Türkiye, both with a large windscreen and glass roof. After replacement the cameras must be calibrated and the system checked.
Tesla specifics
- The windscreen sits close to the glass roof, so removal and fitting need extra care.
- The camera housing and heating elements are transferred to the new glass.
- Some versions use acoustic glass; the part is chosen by VIN.
- Calibration can be completed by driving through the car’s software; we explain the process at handover.
Glass roof damage
The glass roof on the Model Y and Model 3 can be damaged by stones or hail. We plan replacement based on the damage and check your insurance cover.
