Renault windscreen replacement
Renault is one of the most common makes on Turkish roads, and glass work usually starts with a stone chip or crack. Many versions of newer models such as the Clio V, Captur II, Austral and Megane IV have a lane-keeping and traffic-sign camera behind the rear-view mirror. After a windscreen change this camera must be recalibrated, otherwise lane warnings may trigger at the wrong moment.
Equipment we check
- Rain and light sensors (depending on trim), with a new sensor gel pad.
- Heated and acoustic windscreen options vary by version; the correct part is identified from the VIN.
- Earlier generations such as the Clio IV and Fluence have no camera, so the job is shorter.
OEM or equivalent?
