Opel windscreen replacement
Opel’s windscreen-mounted camera has long been known as Opel Eye. Many versions of the Astra K, Astra L, Corsa F, Mokka B, Grandland and Insignia B use it for lane keeping, traffic-sign recognition and collision warning, so it is always calibrated after a windscreen change.
Technical details
- New Opels share the Stellantis platform, so glass and bracket layouts resemble Peugeot and Citroën; the part number is still verified by VIN.
- Rain/light sensors and heated windscreens depend on trim.
- Commercial versions such as the Combo E usually have no camera.
