Hyundai windscreen replacement
Hyundai is very common in cities thanks to the locally built i10 and i20. Many versions of the new i20 III, Bayon, Tucson NX4, Kona II and Elantra CN7 carry the SmartSense driver-assist package. Its lane-keeping and collision-avoidance camera is fixed to the windscreen, so calibration is needed after replacement.
What we check
- Rain and automatic light sensor connections (depending on trim).
- Versions with a heated windscreen or heated wiper area.
- Bonding the camera bracket to the new glass at the right angle.
Earlier generations
Earlier models such as the i20 II, Tucson TL and Accent Blue usually have no camera, so the job is shorter and equivalent glass keeps costs down. For a no-upfront-payment insurance job, just share your policy details.
