Windscreen Replacement and ADAS Calibration for a Logistics Fleet
Cracked windscreens on a Dudullu logistics company’s light commercial fleet were replaced during the night shift without taking vehicles off their routes; camera-equipped vehicles were ADAS-calibrated the same night.

The project story
Need
A logistics company’s delivery vans had accumulated many chips and cracks from city and motorway use. Taking vehicles off their routes during the day would disrupt deliveries, so the work had to be done outside working hours. Some of the newer vehicles had lane-keeping and emergency braking cameras.
Solution
We first inspected the whole fleet in the car park and sorted the glass into three groups: repairable chips, cracked windscreens to replace, and glass in good condition. Chips were repaired with resin the same day. Replacement windscreens were ordered by chassis number and fitted over three nights in the company’s own car park, in a lit work area. Camera-equipped vehicles received static ADAS calibration after replacement, with a calibration report for each. We handled the claim files of insured vehicles with the insurers.
Process
We worked to an average plan of an hour and a half per vehicle: removing the old glass, cleaning and priming the body flange, fitting the new glass and waiting for the adhesive’s safe drive-away time.
Result
No vehicle was taken off a daytime route. The company received a plate-by-plate job list, warranty certificates and calibration reports, and a chip inspection every six months was scheduled for the fleet.
